Chronic bronchitis:
This variety can be mild to severe and is longer lasting.
This may lasts for several months to years. By name itself as it is chronic the
bronchial tubes go on to be inflamed, irritated, and produce increased mucus
over time. The most common cause is smoking.

A male patient 40 years old visited my clinic with the
following complaints.
- Frequent cold since 8years
- sneezing present
- Thin nasal discharge
- Cough with thick and white expectoration
- Feeling of suffocation when lying down
His complaints worsen by cold weather, lying down and at 12
am to 1 am and better by sitting up and taking warm drinks.
