He couldn’t tolerate the changes of weather and this weather results in development of asthmatic complaints with a frequency of attacks 3-4 in a month. He was prescribed nebulisers, antiobiotics in last 3 years. He also had bronchitis and dust allergy.

He had fear of being alone and craves for undigestible things (raw rice and eggs). His appetite was increased and his thirst and sleep were normal. He had increased sweating on the back of head.

His past history included chicken pox in childhood. His father is a diabetic patient.

Case Study 4

A male patient 34 years old businessman. His respiratory symptoms started 10 years ago but it had increased over the past 3 years. Before he came to us, he had daily suffering with breathlessness. He had been hospitalized on four times in the past for the treatment of sthma.

He was getting cold easily from every change of weather. This starts with a thin, watery nasal discharge and sneezing. The colds would result in a nose block, which was relieved in the open air and from walking about. These symptoms would be a run up to his breathlessness, which had now become a daily problem.

The breathlessness was worse eating sour things, Sweets, sugar, and at 2 a.m. He was better sitting bent forward and after eating.

He likes sweets and fried food. He cannot tolerate the cold

Skin- warts on the nose, neck and abdomen.

I gave a homoeopathic medicine called Thuja on the basis of the past illnesses. This was later followed by a remedy called Ars. album. He got complete relief of his sufferings in 2 months.
