GONORRHOEA

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). This infection caused by a bacteria called Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Location of this infection include warm and moist areas of the body (urethra, vagina, female reproductive tract, anus, eyes, throat).


Spread of disease:

Gonorrhea spreads from person to person through unprotected oral, anal, or vaginal sex.

Risk groups and factors:
  • People with numerous sexual partners
  • People who don’t use a condom
Symptoms:

A person with gonorrhea who doesn’t have symptoms is still contagious and such persons are more likely to spread the infection to other partners.

Symptoms usually present within 2 to 14 days after exposure. However, many people infected with gonorrhea may never develop noticeable symptoms. It’s important to remember that.

In Men:

Men may not develop noticeable symptoms for several weeks. Some men may never develop symptoms.
  • Burning and painful urination
  • Increased frequency of urination
  • Urgency of urination
  • Swelling and redness at the opening of penis
  • Swelling or pain in the testicles
  • A persistent sore throat
In Woman:

Hydrastis, nitric acid, Thuja, Cannabis Sativa, Argentum Nitricum, Alumen, Medorrhinum, kali sulph,  Sepia, Pulsatilla and Silicea and Sulphur.

Protected sex
Self-discipline for sex
Monogamy (sex with only one partner).
