HOMOEOPATHY FOR FIBROMYALGIA

Disease:
FIBROMYALGIA
Fibromyalgia is a musculoskeletal disorder with chronic widespread pain around the neck, joints, muscles, tendons, connective tissues. It is associated with disturbed sleep, and exhaustion from head to toe. Fibromyalgia mainly affects primarily the women of child bearing age (80%) and women aged between 20 to 50 years.
Tender points are specific places on the body that are exceptionally sensitive to the touch in people with fibromyalgia. There are 18 specific points at nine bilateral locations.
The slight touch hurts the tender points such as neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms or legs.
The tender points are lower cervical region, second rib, back of the neck, back shoulder, area, shoulder blade area, elbow area, rear end, rear hip and knee area.
Causes:
Unknown
Increased levels of a nerve chemical signal (substance P), and nerve growth factor in the spinal fluid of fibromyalgia patients.
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Growth hormone deficient
  • Neck trauma
  • Hyperactivity of sympathetic nerves
  • Decreased blood flow to thalamus region of the brain
  • Low level of serotonin
Risk Factors: 
  1. Familial fibromyalgia
  2. Women are at high risk than the men
  3. Sleep disorder
  4. Scoliosis and low back pain
  5. Obesity
  6. People with systemic lupus erythematous, ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatic arthritis
Symptoms:
FIBROMYALGI
Most patients are frustrated by their physical limitations and the symptoms of fibromyalgia are unpredictable.
Pain all over the body, Pain in the neck, shoulders, arms and buttock more than three months

Homoeopathy Treatment:
Arnica is generally prescribed for pain, tenderness, and stiffness. Take one dose of Arnica 30x or 15c, as directed on the product label, three times daily for up to three days. Arnica cream or gel can also be used topically. Follow the directions on the product label. 
HOMOEO LIFE PLUS

Bryonia helps ease pain that increases with movement and is better when resting. It also helps with the constipation. Take one dose of Bryonia 30x or 15c three times daily for up to three days.
Hypericum is useful for the unbearable prickly pain that radiates along nerve pathways, is worse with movement, and worse when touched. This remedy is especially effective for pain in the extremities. Take one dose of Hypericum 12x, 6x, 6c, or 3c three times daily for up to three days.
Rhus toxicodendron is for the individual who feels better after moving around. Take one dose of Rhus toxicodendron 30x or 9c three times daily for up to three days.

Prevention: 
  • Aerobic exercise, such as swimming and walking, improves muscle fitness and reduces muscle pain and tenderness.
  • Paying attention to current psycho logic and physical influences.
  • Stress management
  • Plenty of sleep
